Conferences
Conferences will be held with parents in October. At that time, your child's school progress and Kindergarten assessment will be shared with you. If you feel a conference is needed before that time, please let your child's teacher know. Communication between home and school is essential!

Classroom Rewards
We have quite a few ways in our rooms to reward positive behavior. Here are a few that your child's class may use. See your child's teacher for specifics!
Blue Notes- We have new and improved blue notes this year! As children display the traits of a leader, they will receive a blue note. Throughout the year, blue notes will be drawn at random to receive a special surprise from the Principal. Sticker Charts- Each child has a monthly sticker chart. They are given stickers as a reward for setting a great example, following directions quickly, working hard, doing a great job, and any number of other positive behaviors. Students are responsible for putting their stickers on their sticker chart. When a student has a row of 10 stickers, they place it in a basket in our room. When I check the basket, I write the date the student achieved their goal of 10 stickers and they get a treasure from the treasure box. Warm Fuzzies- When our WHOLE class is "caught" doing something great, we add fuzzies to our fuzzy jar. When the jar is full, the whole class will receive a surprise. Class Dojo-Students will accumulate points on Class Dojo and be rewarded for their efforts with trips to the treasure chest or other rewards. Parents will get real time messages to know how the children are doing in their day. |
